Oh la la in the Phuket Raceweek. Also hit photo on Sailing Anarchy.com

We had an excellent Phuket Race Week! (23-27july).
The Frog raced in a fleet of 50 yachts including 5 One design Fireflies, classics, big monohulls, sportboats and catamarans. Medium to heavy conditions, speeds over 25 knots were achieved. Frogs crew had never sailed together before, they went on a sharp learning curve, and eventually came 2nd and 3rd out of the 8 races.

Phuket Race Week is definitely a top holiday sailing venue.

Pictures of Raceweek
here

Inquire and book now for 2009, many boats are for charter, cruise for a week and race a week, prices are low, winds are high and parties are excellent.

**Our fleet will be extended with a second Firefly, available for the upcoming Kings Cup and all Asian 2009 regattas, a brand new Salona 42 is for charter for the Kings Cup, a modern fast mono hull, build to the highest standards that out sails anything around  the same length. see here

Kings Cup - 29 Nov-6 Dec
Langkawi Regatta - 4 - 10 January
1000 islands, just over the border with Malaysia
Phang Nga Bay Regatta - February
Top of the Gulf, Pattaya - April
Pattaya-Koh Chang Rally - April
Samui International Yacht Regatta - May/June
Phuket Race week - July

Hi Chris! We had a great time and experience learning how to sail. You are a very enthousiastic teacher during these 4 days. We really feel we have learned a lot and can sail a small boat on our own! Beside of that.....the finishbeers were great!! Regards Gert & Ingrid.

Firstly, i want to say what a fantastic time we had last week over the whole of the Phang Nga bay regatta, both sailing the Frog and then relaxing on board the Cyrene. You said at the outset that you wanted to create an unforgettable experience and you certainly did that! Thank you very much.

We enjoy the news on your weblog! We always sail on the Bodensee. We have been on holiday to Phuket 2 times. We never thought about sailing there. We have seen your website, but can you tell us what a five night trip on your boat costs. And can you also help us with a hotel??

Hi Chris, Big thanks for today. I had great fun and believe I absorbed some stuff that I’d never quite got to grips with, despite the hours I’ve spent on boats over the past few years. Your teaching style suits perfectly. Looking forward to Sunday. Gren
